Team building games for corporate offsites

The team building games that work at offsites make people talk to colleagues outside their own team: photo missions around the resort, a Prompt Relay where four teammates build one picture, a Bluff Battle by department. Everything runs on phones in the browser, with teams by department or by table on one leaderboard.

Written for HR and L&D teams choosing for a team: what to run, when, for how many. 12 games, each playable in your browser from this page.

Building a two-day offsite around games

Open day one with Two Truths & a Lie so people know a fact about each other before the first session. Use the afternoon for a team race (photo missions or Prompt Relay), keep Bluff Battle or Mystery Box for the post-lunch dip, and close the night with Tambola or an arcade leaderboard by department. Day two can carry a Creator Studio sprint tied to the strategy theme.

Set the teams once (departments, tables or mixed squads) and every game reuses them, so the leaderboard tells one story across the offsite.

If you are planning this for a client

For HR and offsite agencies: each game takes your company’s logo, values and team names; nothing needs installing on laptops, and the AI writes fresh content on your topic if you have none.

Sociana beyond the games: offsites

The event app and platform around the games, and customer events we have delivered. Labels say what is delivered, live or still being built.

Questions people ask

What are good team building games for large offsites?

Photo missions, Prompt Relay and Bluff Battle scale to whole departments; for 300+ people, add a room-wide game such as Quiz Arena or Tambola.

Do team building games need a facilitator?

One person runs each game from the host console on a phone. We can host on the day, or brief your HR team.
