How to sell tickets for your event with Sociana

  1. Set the tiers

    Name each ticket type, its price, what it unlocks (days, sessions, dinners) and how many you will sell.

  2. Connect the gateway

    Payments settle into your Razorpay or PhonePe account; we set it up with you.

  3. Open the ticket page

    Share the link or QR. Buyers pay by UPI or card and get the pass and invoice at once.

  4. Scan at the gate

    Volunteers scan passes in the staff app; the first scan admits.

  5. Reconcile

    Export orders, coupons and GST for your accounts after the event.

Every event uses its own industry kit: weddings never show sponsors, and only the organiser’s approved names and logos appear.

Conferences and summits

Early-bird, delegate and VIP tiers, group invoices for companies, and passes per day or track.

Festivals and campus

Fest passes with day entry, committee-approved discount codes, and gate scanning at volume.

Weddings

Not used for guests. Families sometimes sell passes for a charity evening; the family’s own name and colours only.

What it does not do

  • Sociana is not a ticket marketplace: tickets sell on your own event page and app, not on a public listing.
  • Gateway fees are charged by the gateway at actuals.
  • Payments settle in India; other countries need a route agreed first.

What it costs

Flat ₹99,000 per event or season with 0% Sociana commission, or Flex ₹15 per ticket issued (minimum ₹15,000, capped at the Flat price). On an event package: ₹25,000 set-up. Gateway fees at actuals; prices + GST.

Sociana Ticketing: common questions

What is Sociana Ticketing?

Sociana Ticketing is the ticketing part of the Sociana event platform: ticket tiers, UPI and card checkout, GST invoices, coupons and group orders, and a personal QR pass that opens the gate. It sells tickets on your own event page and app, not on a marketplace.

Which payment methods do buyers get?

UPI, cards and net banking through Razorpay or PhonePe, settled into your own gateway account in India. Payment completes even if the buyer closes the app mid-payment, and the pass and GST invoice arrive at once.

How is ticketing priced?

Flat per event or season with 0% Sociana commission, or Flex per ticket issued with a minimum, capped at the Flat price. On an event package ticketing has a one-time set-up fee. Gateway fees are charged by the gateway at actuals.

Can one person buy for a team?

Yes. One buyer can pay for up to 10 people in one order, and each person gets their own pass and QR. Companies can get one invoice for the group.

Are refunds and transfers self-serve?

Not yet. Self-serve refunds and transfers are being built; today our team processes refunds through the gateway on your instruction. The page marks this as coming soon.
