By industry

How it looks at your kind of event

Every event uses its own industry kit: weddings never show sponsors, and only the organiser’s approved names and logos appear.

Conferences

Passes, hall changes and “starts in 10 minutes” nudges per track.

Weddings

Function reminders, venue pins and the shuttle time from the family’s number, in the couple’s words. Nothing promotional.

Festivals and campus

Gate times, lost-and-found and results, in Hindi or English.

What it does not do

  • Only people who opted in get messages.
  • WhatsApp charges its own per-message fees, passed on at actuals.
  • Template wording needs WhatsApp’s approval, which can take a day.

What it costs

WhatsApp’s own per-message fees are billed at actuals; we show an estimate per message before you send.

FAQ

Sociana WhatsApp Entry: common questions

What is Sociana WhatsApp Entry?

It is how Sociana sends entry passes, reminders and result cards on WhatsApp from your organisation's own business number, with approved templates, to guests who opted in, plus a delivery log.

What does it cost to send?

WhatsApp charges its own fee per message by category, passed on at actuals. Sociana shows an estimate before each send; the WhatsApp campaign cost calculator gives a budget.

Who receives the messages?

Only guests who agreed to WhatsApp messages when they registered. Each message can target everyone, people not yet scanned, or one hall or group.

What if a guest is not on WhatsApp?

The combined delivery log with automatic fallback is being built. Email and SMS can already reach guests separately; failed numbers are listed so they can be fixed.

How long do templates take?

WhatsApp approves each template, usually within a day. We draft the pass, gate, session and result templates with you early so they are ready in time.
