By industry

How it looks at your kind of event

Every event uses its own industry kit: weddings never show sponsors, and only the organiser’s approved names and logos appear.

Conferences and summits

Keynotes and panels captioned; speakers and session titles on the LED.

Government and PSU

Department events in Hindi and English with the department’s own name only.

Town halls

Leadership talks captioned for every office, with anonymous questions.

What it does not do

  • Not available yet.
  • Captions lag the speaker by a second or two.
  • Machine translation is labelled AI and can make mistakes with names; the glossary helps.

What it costs

Streaming speech-to-text is billed per audio hour by the partner; we will quote it per hall after a written price check.

FAQ

Sociana Live Captions: common questions

What is Sociana Live Captions?

A planned feature that captions each hall's speaker live on the LED and on guests' phones, translated into the language each guest chooses, labelled AI, with a glossary so names are spelt right.

Which languages?

English, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali and more are planned. We will confirm the languages for your event when the feature ships and after a written price check with the speech partner.

How accurate is it?

Captions lag the speaker by a second or two, and machine translation can make mistakes with names. A glossary of speakers, products and acronyms helps, and everything is labelled AI.

What is live today?

Anonymous pulse polls and upvoted Q&A are live. AI-clustered questions, the stream overlay, remote play and linked venues are coming soon.

How will it be priced?

Streaming speech-to-text is billed per audio hour by the speech partner. We will quote it per hall once the price is checked in writing.
