Free 2-hour trial, no sign-up: you host on this device, friends play on their phones, the big screen runs in any browser. Simulated AI in the trial; real AI at your event.

The moment it is built for: Every phone is one station of a street-food stall: one taps, one pours, one tops, one serves, and nobody finishes a plate alone. The topping shows only on the big screen, so the room starts shouting.

How Chaat Counter plays

Guests

On their phones

Teams of 2 to 6 split the stations: prep (tap fast), fill (hold and let go on the line), top (the topping the customer asked for, seen only by the order-taker) and serve.

You

On the host console

Starts the shift and sets the teams. Versions include a sangeet halwai kitchen, an offsite food truck, a brand sample counter and a wellness-retreat sprout bar.

The room

On the big screen

The stall with customers queueing as their patience runs out, and coins flying into the stall’s jar. Level three is a rolling cart where stations swap phones and the power cuts out.

How it ends: Three story levels: one dish, then combos with a rush hour, then the rolling cart. The team with the fullest jar wins.

The full description from the games team

Teams of 2 to 6 run a chaat stall on the big screen. Each phone is one station: prep (tap fast), fill (hold and let go on the line), top (the topping the customer asked for, which only the big screen and the order-taker see) and serve. Customers queue with their patience running out; coins fly into the stall’s jar. Three story levels: one dish, then combos with a rush hour, then a rolling cart where stations swap phones and the power cuts out. The shouting is the game.

Ready-made versions by occasion

Each version comes with its own story, wording and look. Pick one to start a free trial with it already set up.

  • Wedding

The Halwai Kitchen — sangeet edition

Lajjo’s halwai has gone to dance, so the guests run the chaat counter: pani puri, tikki and jalebi for Bauji, Pops and the baraat. Bride’s side vs groom’s side, one phone per station.

On the phones: “The halwai is on the dance floor. Your table runs the chaat counter: one phone, one station.”

  • Offsite

Team Cook-off — the offsite food truck

Teams run food trucks at the offsite lunch: vada pav, masala Maggi, cutting chai. Prep, fill, top, serve, one phone each; then a “reorg” swaps everyone’s job mid-shift.

On the phones: “Your team runs the offsite food truck. Talk to each other or the queue wins.”

  • Exhibition

Brand Stall Rush — the sample counter

Visitors crew the booth’s sample counter in teams: bhel cones, chai and kulfi to a queue that keeps growing. Fast, loud and very visible from the aisle; contact capture for the prize.

On the phones: “Crew the booth’s sample counter for one minute. Every phone is one station.”

  • Festival

Night Mela — the festival chaat street

A night mela under string lights: stalls side by side on the LED, pani puri, jalebi and kulfi for the whole neighbourhood. Families crew a stall together; the kids pour, the parents shout.

On the phones: “Your family runs a chaat stall at the mela. One phone, one station: shout across the counter.”

  • Campus fest

Canteen Chaos — the fest-day canteen

The college canteen five minutes before the bell: vada pav, Maggi and cold coffee for the whole fest. Hostels or departments crew a counter each; the leaderboard settles the rivalry.

On the phones: “Your gang runs the canteen counter before the bell. One phone, one station.”

The story in the demo

Raj & Simran’s sangeet at the farmhouse. Lajjo’s halwai has gone to dance, so the guests run the chaat counter: pani puri, tikki and jalebi for Bauji, Pops, Chutki and the baraat.

Raj, Simran, Bauji and the rest are an illustrated sample cast, not real people. At your event the same game carries your own names and photos.

How to run Chaat Counter at your event

  1. Pick the version. Choose the wedding version or another occasion’s, then add your names, photos, questions and colours.
  2. Put up the big screen. Open the big-screen link in any browser on the laptop connected to the LED wall, projector or TV.
  3. Guests join. Guests scan the QR code on the screen or on table cards and play in the phone browser. No app, no sign-up.
  4. Run it from the console. Starts the shift and sets the teams. Versions include a sangeet halwai kitchen, an offsite food truck, a brand sample counter and a wellness-retreat sprout bar.
  5. The finish. Three story levels: one dish, then combos with a rush hour, then the rolling cart. The team with the fullest jar wins.

Trying it now? Join on three phones, start from a phone and play level 1 together; in level 2 the topper must ask the order-taker, and in level 3 the cart swaps stations and the power cuts out.

Questions people ask

Why can nobody finish a plate alone?

Each phone is a single station, and the topping is visible only to the order-taker and the big screen, so teammates have to shout across the table.

How big can the teams be?

Two to six players per team.

How long does Chaat Counter take?

About 5–10 minutes per game (3 rounds by default, 70 s each). A team-building slot at an offsite, the sangeet kitchen round, a fest canteen or a brand sample counter.

How many people can play Chaat Counter?

8+ recommended, up to 300 phones, solo or in teams. Everyone plays on their own phone at the same time.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests scan a QR code and play in the phone browser. The big screen is a web page on any laptop connected to the LED wall, projector or TV, and the host runs it from a console on a phone or laptop.

Can Chaat Counter carry our names, photos and branding?

Yes. At a wedding it carries the couple’s names, photos, monogram and hashtag (never sponsors); at a company event your logo, colours, values and team names; at a booth your product and brand. We set it up with your content before the day.

Is the AI real in the free trial?

The trial runs on simulated AI so it is free and instant, and every trial screen says so. At your event the game runs on real AI with your own content. Trials last 2 hours, up to 12 an hour from one network.

How is Chaat Counter priced for an event?

Per occasion, by the games chosen, the number of screens and the days on site. Send the date, city and rough guest count with the form on this page, and we reply with an itemised quote within one working day.
