How Award Night plays

Guests

On their phones

Every phone predicts the winner (or votes, for People’s Choice), the room taps a drumroll, and each phone learns if it called it.

You

On the host console

Runs every award from one console: individual, team and long-service awards.

The room

On the big screen

Each award’s nominees with photos, then a reveal through an envelope, a golden haveli door, a trophy or a searchlight, held in a spotlight with confetti.

How it ends: A winners wall closes the night. This is the awards section of an event, not a game with its own score.

The awards part of the night, run from one console. Each award shows its nominees with photos on the big screen; every phone predicts the winner (or votes, for People’s Choice), the room taps a drumroll, and the winner is revealed through an envelope, a golden haveli door, a trophy or a searchlight, then held in a spotlight with confetti while each phone learns if it called it. Individual, team and long-service awards; a winners wall closes the night.

Ready-made versions by occasion

Each version comes with its own story, wording and look. Pick one to start a free trial with it already set up.

  • Offsite

Annual awards at the offsite — rookie, team, long service

Four awards from one console: the team predicts every winner, drums the envelope open, and closes on a winners wall.

On the phones: “Predict the winner of each award, tap the drumroll and see who called it.”

  • Conference

Conference awards — best talk and the audience favourite

The searchlight hunts across the speakers on their podiums; the audience favourite is decided live by the room.

On the phones: “Predict the best session, tap the drumroll and watch the envelope open.”

  • Campus fest

Fest awards night — performer, crew and teacher of the year

The auditorium calls each winner on their phones; a searchlight finds the performer of the fest, and the dean gets a standing drumroll.

On the phones: “Predict the winners, make some noise and see the searchlight land.”

  • Exhibition

Expo awards — best stall, most innovative product, visitors’ choice

The stalls’ logos orbit a gold trophy; the jury’s winner lights it up, and the visitors vote their own award on the spot.

On the phones: “Predict the best stall, tap the drumroll and see the envelope open.”

  • Festival

Festival prizes — best pandal, best costume, best dhunuchi dancer

The para’s prizes behind carved golden doors: families predict, drum, and one door swings open in a shower of marigolds.

On the phones: “Predict the winners of the mela awards and tap the drumroll together.”

  • Wedding

Family awards at the sangeet — best dancer, most emotional uncle

Both families predict the winners; the golden door opens on the best dancer, the most emotional uncle and the longest marriage in the room.

On the phones: “Predict the winners of the family awards and tap the dhol together.”

The story in the demo

The Horizon Tech offsite awards in Goa. Bauji holds the envelope; Kuljeet is sure he has won; Raj predicts himself every time.

Raj, Simran, Bauji and the rest are an illustrated sample cast, not real people. At your event the same game carries your own names and photos.

How to run Award Night at your event

  1. Pick the version. Choose the offsite version or another occasion’s, then add your names, photos, questions and colours.
  2. Put up the big screen. Open the big-screen link in any browser on the laptop connected to the LED wall, projector or TV.
  3. Guests join. Guests scan the QR code on the screen or on table cards and play in the phone browser. No app, no sign-up.
  4. Run it from the console. Runs every award from one console: individual, team and long-service awards.
  5. The finish. A winners wall closes the night. This is the awards section of an event, not a game with its own score.

Trying it now? Join from two phones, press Open predictions on the host console, predict from both phones, then press Reveal: the drumroll builds and the winner appears.

Questions people ask

Is Award Night a game?

No. It is a stage format: the prediction is a small game for the room, but the awards themselves are real.

Can the audience decide an award?

Yes. For People’s Choice, every phone votes and the room decides.

How long does Award Night take?

About 10–30 minutes per game. An annual awards night at an offsite, conference awards, a fest awards night or family awards at a sangeet.

How many people can play Award Night?

20+ recommended, up to 5,000+ phones. Everyone plays on their own phone at the same time.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests scan a QR code and play in the phone browser. The big screen is a web page on any laptop connected to the LED wall, projector or TV, and the host runs it from a console on a phone or laptop.

Can Award Night carry our names, photos and branding?

Yes. At a wedding it carries the couple’s names, photos, monogram and hashtag (never sponsors); at a company event your logo, colours, values and team names; at a booth your product and brand. We set it up with your content before the day.

Is the AI real in the free trial?

The trial runs on simulated AI so it is free and instant, and every trial screen says so. At your event the game runs on real AI with your own content. Trials last 2 hours, up to 12 an hour from one network.

How is Award Night priced for an event?

Per occasion, by the games chosen, the number of screens and the days on site. Send the date, city and rough guest count with the form on this page, and we reply with an itemised quote within one working day.
