Interactive wedding reception ideas every guest can join

A reception is not the place for a forty-minute quiz: guests are greeting, eating and dancing. The interactive ideas that work there run in the background and ask each guest for one small thing: a selfie for the mosaic of the couple, a wish for the tree, a memory for the storybook, then reveal it all at a high point.

Written for you, the family or host planning your own event. 10 games, each playable in your browser from this page.

Revealing it at the right moment

Start the mosaic and the wish tree as guests arrive, with the QR at the entrance and on every table. Reveal the mosaic just before the first dance and read the blessing near the end. The storybook export goes to the couple the next morning.

If you are planning this for a client

For a planner, these are low-staff ideas: one person approves photos on the host console, and nothing interrupts the stage programme. Every item carries the couple’s monogram and hashtag.

Sociana beyond the games: weddings

The event app and platform around the games, and customer events we have delivered. Labels say what is delivered, live or still being built.

Questions people ask

Do reception walls need someone to run them?

Lightly: one person approves photos or wishes on the host console (approval is on by default for the mosaic) and presses the reveal.

Can guests keep their photos?

Yes. Every guest can open the finished mosaic on their phone, find their tile and download it.
