Best sangeet games, ranked for the big screen

The best sangeet games pit the bride’s side against the groom’s side on one leaderboard: a couple quiz first, a Fastest Finger round with an anchor on the mic, then AI Antakshari to end the night. Every game here runs on guests’ phones with the big screen showing the room, so the whole hall plays, not just the people on stage.

Written for you, the family or host planning your own event. 14 games, each playable in your browser from this page.

A sangeet running order that works

Welcome and performances first, then the couple quiz (ten minutes), a baby-photo round between acts, Fastest Finger with the anchor before dinner, and Antakshari or the open dance floor after. Keep the leaderboard running across the games, so the bride’s side and the groom’s side have a score to settle by the end.

Send the family a short form a week ahead: twenty questions about the couple, a dozen childhood photos, the songs that matter. The games are only as personal as that content.

If you are planning this for a client

Anchors and sangeet choreographers can run every game from a phone. Each game carries the couple’s names and photos; nothing on screen shows a sponsor. Plan one rehearsal on the venue Wi-Fi the afternoon before.

Sociana beyond the games: weddings

The event app and platform around the games, and customer events we have delivered. Labels say what is delivered, live or still being built.

Questions people ask

Which sangeet game involves the most guests?

The couple quiz and Housie: every guest plays on their own phone at the same time, and the two sides compete on one leaderboard.

Can the anchor run the games?

Yes. The anchor runs each round from the host console on a phone, and the big screen shows the questions, votes and leaderboard.

How long should sangeet games last?

Ten to twenty minutes each, two or three in the evening. Arcade play windows are four minutes by default.
