How AI Antakshari plays
On their phones
When it is your team’s turn, a team member’s phone records 15 to 20 seconds of singing, or types the first line (always available for elders).
On the host console
Has one-tap Accept or Reject on every turn; the AI identifies the song, checks the starting sound and rejects repeats, and the host has the final word.
On the big screen
The big letter in Devanagari, Bengali or English, the team and a countdown, the letter chain and a playlist ribbon.
How it ends: The team with the most points after the last turn; lightning turns and a speed bonus keep it moving.
The full description from the games team
Teams take turns singing a song that starts with the last letter (sound) of the previous song. The LED shows the big letter in Devanagari, Bengali or English, the team and a countdown; a team member’s phone records 15–20 seconds of singing (or types the first line — always available for elders). Speech-to-text and an AI referee identify the song (title, film, year), check the starting sound with transliteration-aware leniency and reject repeats; the host has one-tap Accept / Reject. Stuck? A hint suggests three song titles for points. Lightning turns, speed bonus, letter chain and a playlist ribbon on the LED. Bride’s side vs groom’s side, Pujo pandals, offsites and campus fests.

Questions people ask
Can I try AI Antakshari myself?
Not as a self-serve trial: it needs a microphone and real speech-to-text, so we show it as a guided demo. You can watch a self-running version on play.sociana.in.
Does the AI show lyrics?
No. It works with song titles, film and year only, never lyrics. A hint suggests three song titles for points.
How long does AI Antakshari take?
About 20–40 minutes per game (8 rounds by default, 45 s each). The sangeet (bride’s side vs groom’s side), a Pujo evening, an after-dinner leadership night, a campus fest.
How many people can play AI Antakshari?
One performer or team at a time; the room plays along (up to 300 phones). One player or team performs on stage while the whole room watches, guesses or votes.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. Guests scan a QR code and play in the phone browser. The big screen is a web page on any laptop connected to the LED wall, projector or TV, and the host runs it from a console on a phone or laptop.
Can AI Antakshari carry our names, photos and branding?
Yes. At a wedding it carries the couple’s names, photos, monogram and hashtag (never sponsors); at a company event your logo, colours, values and team names; at a booth your product and brand. We set it up with your content before the day.
Why is there no self-serve trial of AI Antakshari?
It needs a microphone or a camera and real AI, which a simulated trial cannot show honestly. Watch the self-running version, then book a short guided demo where we play it with you live.
