The moment it is built for: Every phone answers in secret, then guesses what percentage of the room said yes; the pump meter on the big screen rolls up from zero, and the closest guess takes the round.

How Pointless Pratishat plays
On their phones
Answer a yes/no question about yourself in secret, then guess the percentage who said yes. A final Pointless bonus rewards the right answer nobody else gave.
On the host console
Runs the questions and names the two sides, such as Ladkiwale and Ladkewale at a wedding. No question bank is needed, and any language works.
On the big screen
A petrol-pump meter that rolls up from zero, past each side’s guess, to the true share.
How it ends: Three levels with their own story (the room, the couple and the families at a wedding; the hall, the stage and the company at a summit), then the bonus round decides the winner.
The full description from the games team
The room is the answer. Everyone answers a yes/no question about themselves in secret on their phone (“Have you ever cried at a wedding?”), and the true share is locked. Then everyone guesses that percentage while the big screen’s petrol-pump meter rolls up from zero, past each side’s guess. Three levels with their own story (the room, the couple, the families at a wedding; the hall, the stage, the company at a summit; sleep, steps and screens on a wellness day), then a Pointless bonus where the right answer nobody else gave wins. Two sides play against each other, under the names the event gives them (Ladkiwale and Ladkewale at a wedding). No question bank needed; any language.
Ready-made versions by occasion
Each version comes with its own story, wording and look. Pick one to start a free trial with it already set up.
- Wedding
Pointless Pratishat: Ladkiwale vs Ladkewale
The baraat bus, the mandap, Bauji’s courtyard: the room answers in secret, both sides guess the percentage, and the pump meter rolls past both sides’ guesses. Finishes with Pointless Pheras.
On the phones: “Two sides, one room: answer in secret, then guess what percentage of the room said yes.”
- Conference
Pointless Pratishat: the hall census
A 6-minute keynote warm-up. The hall answers about itself in secret (first time here? AI at work this week?), then guesses its own percentage. Front rows against back rows.
On the phones: “The hall answers about itself in secret, then guesses its own percentage. Front rows against back rows.”
- Offsite
Pointless Pratishat: the offsite bus
From the ghat road to the bonfire: how well does the team know itself? Two buses guess against each other, and the snack round rewards the rarest answer.
On the phones: “Two buses guess how well the team knows itself; the snack round rewards the rarest answer.”
- Exhibition
Pointless Pratishat: stand survey
Visitors at the stand answer about energy at home and guess the aisle’s percentage, then name a rare thing that runs on electricity. Solo play; every visitor leaves knowing a fact about the hall.
On the phones: “Answer about energy at home, guess the aisle’s percentage, and leave knowing one fact about the hall.”
- Campus fest
Pointless Pratishat: fest lawns
Hostellers against day scholars: 2 am Maggi, borrowed notes and the ten-year reunion. The lawn answers, guesses itself, and the canteen round rewards the rarest order.
On the phones: “Hostellers against day scholars: the lawn answers in secret, then guesses itself.”
The story in the demo
Raj & Simran’s sangeet at the farmhouse. The room answers about itself in secret: Pops asks about the whole room, Chutki about the couple, Lajjo about the two families; the bonus asks for the rarest wedding sweet anyone can name.
Raj, Simran, Bauji and the rest are an illustrated sample cast, not real people. At your event the same game carries your own names and photos.

- Put up the big screen. Open the big-screen link in any browser on the laptop connected to the LED wall, projector or TV.
- Guests join. Guests scan the QR code on the screen or on table cards and play in the phone browser. No app, no sign-up.
- Run it from the console. Runs the questions and names the two sides, such as Ladkiwale and Ladkewale at a wedding. No question bank is needed, and any language works.
- The finish. Three levels with their own story (the room, the couple and the families at a wedding; the hall, the stage and the company at a summit), then the bonus round decides the winner.
Trying it now? Answer on three phones, some yes and some no, guess a percentage on each, and watch the meter roll up; the bonus round rewards the rarest right answer.

Tota-ji’s Chase
The whole room is one team climbing a lamp-lit stepwell against Tota-ji, a cut-paper parrot who chases them up it.

AI Bluff Battle
Write a fake answer that fools your friends, then find the real one; the AI rewrites every option in one voice so nobody can tell by the wording.

Fastest Finger First
A TV-style quiz show: the room races to put four answers in order, and the fastest correct finger takes the Hot Seat.

AI Mystery Box
The AI hides a secret; guests ask yes-or-no questions from their phones, and the first right guess wins.

AI Tambola (Housie)
Housie on every phone: each guest gets a ticket, the big screen calls the numbers with rhymes written for your event, and the server checks every claim.

No question bank is needed: the questions are yes/no prompts about the guests themselves, for example “Have you ever cried at a wedding?”.
Does it work in Hindi, Bengali or Tamil?
It works in any language.

About 10–20 minutes per game. Between sangeet performances, as a summit hall census, or a wellness-day survey on sleep, steps and screens.
